There are many plugins for Leaflet. The marker cluster and drawing tools are particularly beautiful and functional. MapQuest provides map tile, geocoding, routing, and traffic plugins for the Leaflet sdk. There are several samples of the MapQuest plugins for Leaflet available.
JavaScript maps are the most common method to show a map on the internet. They are interactive so the user can zoom, drag, choose different views, and otherwise see what applications present geographically. The can show where a user is or where the user may want to go or see. Routes can show how the user gets where they want to go and even modify the route if the user chooses to do so. Traffic can be added to the map to show areas to avoid, what causes backups, and may help show how a route may be better than the usual route. Leaflet is our favorite JavaScript map. MapQuest.com is based on Leaflet. Leaflet can be used in desktop or mobile web pages where the application can control what the user sees and how the user interacts.
